Angelica, I cat tell you for sure what elephants eat because i was almost eaten by one while in africa. I was hunting lions, so i put on my ghillie suit so that i would blend in with the grass so that the lions could not see me. then out of nowhere an elephant came up and started trying to eat me because he thought i was a bunch of grass. I almost lost my left leg. As you can see from my near death experience elephants eat grass, leaves and such, with a high percentage of water, and may eat up to 300 kgs/day.
